"We're going legit, kid," Sonny tells Jason who is standing in the penthouse with a vacant look that we have come to recognize as his usual expression. "We're going to clean up Port Charles."

"You mean we're getting into the trash business?" Jason asks, his tendency to take things literally trying Sonny's patience.

For a minute, Sonny longs for the good old days, but his resolve strengthens. "Jason, we're getting rid of the crooks in town. We're going to be the good guys from now on."

"Can I keep the gun?" Jason asks. "I'm getting good with it."

"Sure, kid. Even cops have guns, and since we're sort of cops, without badges, we'll need them." He pauses. "But, you've got to keep this a secret. Don't tell anybody."

"Okay," Jason agrees. "So, what do we do?"

"First off, we find out all we can about the African Aphrodisiac that's out there, and we get it and take it out of circulation before it gets into the wrong hands. That stuff is worth millions and could cause major problems if it isn't stopped. Jason, I've heard that Lily, my ex, is after it, too. Kid, I've been on the wrong side of the law long enough. Time to make amends, and this is where we start. It's you and me, kid. Like Batman and Robin, the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Don Quixote and Sancho Panza." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

"You must be Gil," Carly says to the cop she's been told to meet in the park. At his nod, and after inspection of his ID, Carly continues. "Frisco said that you know what's going on, and that I can contact you if I need anything."

"Anything," Gil assures her fervently. Their eyes meet, and both privately acknowledge that this is not the time nor the place for such thoughts. So, putting the good of the community and the world in general ahead of their personal needs, the two agree to join forces to fight the evil that has descended on PC like a proverbial plague.

"I'm undercover at GH and hanging around the Jones house," Carly tells him. "You can find me there, or at a place named Jake's. That's probably the best place to meet. Kinda seedy, but we can talk while we shoot pool and nobody will care."

Gil nods, and a partnership is formed. He watches as she disappears into the park, and looks forward to shooting pool. Every night. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

"We're going to take this stuff off the streets," Lily tells Robin who is listening carefully to what Lily hasn't said.

As previously stated, Robin isn't dumb, and has figured out that Lily's motives are suspect. "So what do you want me to do?" she asks, innocently.

"I want you to talk to Jason and see what Sonny has told him to do. You can bet that Sonny knows what's going on and we have to stop him." Lily searches for the words to persuade Robin that what they're doing is right. "This stuff is dangerous, Robin. We have to take it off the streets and make sure that... that it is only in the most responsible hands. It is a force that can be used for good or evil, and we're going to do what's right."

That sounded good. Right, according to Lily, was whatever benefited her the most. Right, thinks Robin, skeptically. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Stay tuned. Will Sonny and Jason be a match for the formerly sweet Lily and Robin? Or, are they just tilting at windmills?? Can we count on Gil to maintain his objectivity where Carly is concerned?? What ever happened to Tony Jones and her interest in him?? And, what of the meeting that is taking place beneath the streets of PC where this whole thing first began???? Hmmmmmmmmmm
